The best career advice I have ever received is to always be honest and transparent in everything I do. In my daily work, I focus on coordinating loads, negotiating fair rates, supporting smaller carriers and owner-operators, and ensuring that everyone involved understands the process clearly. By staying true to my values, communicating openly, and treating people with respect, I have been able to build strong, lasting relationships and create a business centered on integrity and trust.

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in the transportation industry right now is navigating load negotiations. Market conditions continue to change, making it important to understand pricing, maintain strong relationships, and find solutions that work for both shippers and carriers. I see these challenges as opportunities to strengthen communication, provide value, and build trust through fair and transparent negotiations. By staying informed, adaptable, and focused on collaboration, I can continue helping carriers and customers succeed in an evolving freight market.

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, compassion, family, and service to others. As the owner of a freight brokerage focused on agricultural goods, I believe transparency and integrity are essential to building strong, lasting relationships with carriers, shippers, and customers. Beyond my professional life, I value spending quality time with my family and enjoying outdoor activities such as camping and fishing, which keep me grounded and connected to the people and experiences that matter most.
