Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of perseverance, mentorship, and a relentless pursuit of my entrepreneurial dreams. Over the years, I’ve worked across the legal, business, and cybersecurity fields—building an intern pipeline connecting 192 universities and law schools with an international law firm, developing cybersecurity software, and even helping build bottle schools in underserved countries. These experiences, along with my involvement in professional legal associations, have allowed me to integrate knowledge, creativity, and leadership into every project I take on. Outside of work, I find inspiration in 3D modeling, music, and the beauty of nature, which keeps me grounded and fuels my problem-solving skills.

I’ve learned that pursuing your goals requires determination and refusing to let others define your path. I often think of entrepreneurship like building a house brick by brick—you have to lay each foundation with patience, persistence, and confidence. This mindset has guided me as I expand my professional network, especially connecting with more women in fields historically dominated by men. I’ve also learned the importance of giving back and supporting causes that matter; I’m proud to contribute to organizations like United Way, Missionary House, and Area in Need, which provide essential services to the homeless and underserved communities.

I am deeply grateful for the influence of several people in my life who have shaped my journey. My mother, Cassandra Gregory, instilled in me love, resilience, and an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. I’ve also been fortunate to learn from mentors such as Frederick Houston, who embodies integrity and intelligence, and Benjamin and Janae Crump, a power couple who inspire me through their work in justice, education, and community service. Their guidance, combined with my faith and determination, has allowed me to build DMG WE WILL NEVER FAULTER LLC into a business that delivers meaningful impact, innovative solutions, and consistent excellence across legal, business, and technology sectors.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received comes from my mother, who instilled in me the belief that I can achieve anything I set my mind to, no matter my circumstances. She taught me to focus on what I can control—my mindset, my work ethic, and my integrity—and not let limitations define my path. That advice has been the foundation of everything I’ve accomplished, from building DMG WE WILL NEVER FAULTER LLC to pursuing dual degrees in law and business.

Along the way, I’ve been inspired and supported by incredible people who have shaped my professional and personal growth. Frederick Houston, who works for the Secret Service, stands out as a mentor whose integrity, intelligence, and moral compass I deeply admire. I hope to walk in his footsteps and carry forward the standards he models. I’m also inspired by Benjamin and Janay Crump, a dynamic, family-oriented couple whose work in education, justice, and community service demonstrates how impactful thoughtful, behind-the-scenes contributions can be. Their example motivates me to use my work to create meaningful change and opportunities for others.

Outside of work, I draw inspiration from my personal passions and the communities I serve. I aim to connect with women within our network and our readers, sharing guidance and encouragement to pursue their goals despite challenges. Whether through mentorship, professional collaborations, or community initiatives, I want my story to show that perseverance, faith, and dedication can transform obstacles into opportunities—not just for me, but for those I have the privilege to influence.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be realistic about the goals you set, but never let anyone else box you in or limit your dreams. Build your future brick by brick, just like constructing the house you want to live in. Stay focused, stay determined, and remember that your vision and effort are what will create the life and career you aspire to achieve.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values I hold most important in both my work and personal life begin with my faith. I give the highest credit to Yahweh—the Holy Trinity: God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—for guiding me and empowering me to accomplish everything I have. My mother has also been a tremendous influence, and reflecting on nature versus nurture, I recognize that my family dynamic gave me the tools to choose how I wanted to live my life and strive to be the best version of myself every day.

In my personal time, I find joy and inspiration through music and art. Creative expression is a true passion of mine, whether it’s through painting, murals, live music, or anything involving rhythm. These outlets remind me of the importance of creativity, balance, and presence in life.

Ultimately, I hope to continue growing, expanding my horizons, and connecting with others in meaningful ways. My goal is to inspire those around me, using my experiences and platform to motivate and uplift others as they pursue their own dreams.
