Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to how I was raised. From a young age, my parents instilled in me to always try to find a way to give back, even if you don't have much. I started volunteering in my old neighborhood, then for school community credit and now as an adult volunteering for different organizations.across the United States (virtual and in-person).

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I'd received was "who you are defines you, not what you do."

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

What I would say to her is, take your time and figure out what is it you want to do with your life. Ignore what others are doing. Once you figure it out, you're going to have good day and bad days, but always remember the reason why you started it, and the goal that you're trying to reach.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges is definitely getting new clients. Most of them need the support in marketing, but don't have the funds or volunteers to help.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

What I value most is communication. I'm all about building genuine relationships. It's not always about money, it's all about seeing how we can help one another.
