Ten minutes with Diane
01What do you attribute your success to?
My success comes from determination. I researched and trained myself. I'm always looking for better ways to improve my department by Googling stuff and finding new tools.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Challenge expectations. Success isn't just measured by personal achievement, it's measured by a positive impact to others and the legacy that you leave behind.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage other women to believe in their abilities, step up confidently into leadership roles, never be afraid to challenge. They can be measured by a positive impact we have on others and legacies that we leave behind. Many women can continue to lead with integrity and purpose in industries where our voices are making lasting differences.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
This industry has challenged me to grow professionally and personally. It's a very fast-paced, high-pressure environment where detailed accountability and leadership are essential. I've learned to build on consistency, trust, and courage to make difficult decisions even when they aren't easy, because each day is different.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Leadership isn't just about a person in front of the room sometimes. It's about making decisions that no one sees that everyone benefits from behind the scenes.
