Her Interview
Ten minutes with Dimple
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute a lot of my success to the people I’ve had the opportunity to work with throughout my career. Over the years, I’ve worked with many different teams and individuals, and I’ve been fortunate to learn from supportive, talented people along the way. Their guidance, collaboration, and encouragement made it much easier for me to grow and take on new challenges.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is that good managers lead with empathy. That advice has shaped the way I work with my teams and has helped me become a more thoughtful leader and a better person.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
A leader should create more leaders. My advice to young women entering the industry is to support and uplift other women as they grow. When you find yourself in a leadership position, use that opportunity to help more women build confidence, take on responsibility, and become leaders themselves.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is one of the biggest challenges and opportunities in the industry right now. For engineers, it can feel uncertain to think about how much the role may change as AI becomes more capable. At the same time, I think the key is to adapt, keep learning, and stay curious.
I’m also at a stage where I’m exploring problems I care about and working toward building something of my own. The idea of becoming a founder and creating a startup around a meaningful real-world problem is something I’m actively pursuing, and I see this period of change as an opportunity to experiment, learn, and build.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Curiosity and openness are values that are very important to me, both professionally and personally. I believe that exploring life, trying new things, traveling, and meeting people from different backgrounds and experiences shape who we are. These experiences broaden our perspective and influence how we think, work with others, and perceive the world around us.
