Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to recognizing gaps in the insurance industry and taking the initiative to fill them. By creating clear, comprehensive resources—like customer modules and highlight sheets—I helped both agents and clients better understand complex products, ultimately setting a new standard across major carriers.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that there’s no ceiling—you can always go beyond expectations. I was taught to strive for excellence over perfection, because while perfection is subjective, excellence is about consistently doing your best, and that always rises above.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in consulting right now is the slowdown in mergers and acquisitions, which, along with rising employment concerns, has led many companies to cut essential insurance benefits like disability coverage. As a result, employees facing health issues are left without the support they need, highlighting a growing gap in workplace empathy and resources.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are equipping others with the knowledge and resources they need, promoting understanding and value in every interaction, and maintaining a commitment to continuous learning—even through my own healthcare challenges—to serve clients and trainees with excellence.
