Her Interview

Ten minutes with Dr. Sara

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success is driven by a commitment to rigorous, evidence-based data paired with deep sincerity, passion, and the human connection that conventional medicine in the current model so often lacks.

It is built on a willingness to constantly learn, adapt, and pivot—never being afraid to take calculated risks or leave behind systems that no longer serve your growth. True innovation requires the courage to clear away the outdated to make space for the extraordinary.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice centers on recognizing that building something extraordinary takes deliberate intention, absolute conviction in your vision, relentless persistence, and daily consistency—especially when results aren't immediate. It requires a willingness to adapt or pivot the moment a system or environment no longer serves your growth, knowing that consistency compounds over time while holding onto the outdated only holds you back.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never wait for permission, a guaranteed safety net, or a distant retirement milestone to build the life and career you envision. Follow your ambition relentlessly, but make sure you back it up by acquiring the rigorous tools, credentials, and skills required to command the room.

If your path demands a pivot to master a new domain, do it without hesitation—gain the expertise, take on side work or PRN roles to fund your vision, and engineer your own momentum. True autonomy and extraordinary impact belong to those who take calculated risks early, stay relentlessly consistent, and refuse to let conventional timelines dictate their potential.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The greatest challenge is breaking through the conventional mindset that insurance-based sick care is the only option, overcoming systemic fragmentation, and driving visibility for holistic, relationship-centered models. The ultimate opportunity lies in shifting from reactive treatment to proactive longevity, scaling high-touch personalized medicine without losing clinical depth.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

At the absolute heart of everything is connection—bringing love, care, compassion, empathy, and deep listening back into medicine, where true wellness is treated as a lifelong partnership rather than a series of disconnected checkups. Equally vital is being fully present as a mother, showing up for family with the exact same drive and devotion brought to career and ambition. Believing that women can truly have it all doesn't mean it happens by accident; it requires rigorous structure, fierce intention, and the courage to design a life where professional excellence and deep-rooted family life amplify each other.
