Under her leadership, A’Michealle delivers transformational programs, leadership development initiatives, coaching, and community partnerships that foster emotional wellness, strengthen self-esteem, and inspire lasting change.
Dr. Curvey-Chukwu’s leadership philosophy is rooted in a simple yet powerful belief: healing changes everything. Her passion is deeply personal. Having overcome the challenges of growing up as an at-risk adolescent, Dr. Curvey-Chukwu transformed her own experiences into a lifelong commitment to helping others break generational cycles of trauma and discover the power of purpose. Holding a Doctorate in Theology and a Master’s degree in Christian Counseling, Dr. Curvey-Chukwu brings together faith, emotional wellness, and strategic leadership to create transformational experiences that inspire both personal and professional growth. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to staying open to learning. I make it a point to remain a student, continuously seeking knowledge and growth in everything I do.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I have received is to remain authentically myself and to never stop learning. Staying true to who I am while continuously growing has shaped how I approach my work.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to pace themselves and avoid comparing their journey to others. It's important to stay true to your calling, your walk, and your vision, and to surround yourself with multiple accountability partners or coaches who can support different areas of your life.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest leadership challenge is expanding our reach while preserving the culture and values that define A'Michealle.
A'Michealle is the organization that helps people build emotional resilience before they reach crisis through education, prevention, self-esteem development, and practical life tools.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, integrity, and excellence are the values I hold most important, and I strive to bring them into everything I do, both professionally and personally.
