Her Story
About Edi
I came to this country with nothing but determination, and that grit still shapes how I lead today. I’m driven by resilience, curiosity, and the belief that where you start is not where you have to stay. I’ve spent my career helping others build confidence, sharpen their skills, and deliver advice that truly changes lives. I value integrity, partnership, and purpose; and I try to bring those into every room I walk into. My story is one of growth, service, and betting on myself, and I use that same energy to help others bet on themselves too.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My success it’s not attributed to one thing, it’s a combination of grit, intention, and the kind of resilience you only learn when you grow up knowing you have to build your own path. As an immigrant, I learned early that nothing is guaranteed. You show up. You bet on yourself. You take chances before you feel ready. You keep learning, keep adapting, and keep moving even when the next step isn’t obvious. My success is rooted in that discipline; the refusal to wait for perfect conditions and the commitment to create them instead. It’s the mindset of turning adversity into opportunity, of letting joy fuel purpose, and of staying grounded in values no matter how fast life moves.
But I didn’t rise alone. My success is also the product of partnership; the unseen support systems that held me up, challenged me, and believed in me long before the titles or milestones ever showed up. My spouse’s steady encouragement, my family’s unwavering faith, the communities that shaped me, and the teams I’ve had the privilege to lead & they’re all part of this story. I attribute my success to investing in people, building culture with intention, and leading with heart. To honoring where I come from and pouring into where I’m going. It’s grit and gratitude. Ambition and service. Strategy and soul. That’s the engine behind everything I’ve built; and everything still ahead.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was simple: bet on yourself before anyone else does. Don’t wait for permission, perfect timing, or a title to lead. Step into the work, stay curious, and let resilience be your advantage. That mindset changed everything for me; it taught me to move with intention, take chances, and trust that the effort I put in today builds the opportunities I’ll stand on tomorrow.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to women; especially those who come from immigrant backgrounds or nontraditional paths is this: where you start is not where you have to stay. This industry rewards resilience, curiosity, and the courage to reinvent yourself. Don’t let anyone define your ceiling. Keep learning, keep moving, and let your story be your strength.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
A major challenge today is rebuilding trust in an industry that’s constantly evolving. Clients want transparency, guidance, and leaders who show up with both expertise and empathy. The opportunity is enormous: leaders who can blend technical skill with authentic communication will set the standard. This is the moment for our industry to elevate how we coach, how we serve, and how we build long term relationships.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me today in work and in life, are integrity, intention, and accountability. I believe in showing up with honesty, doing what I say I’ll do, and leading with clarity even when the path is hard. Whether I’m coaching a team or raising my family, I try to move with purpose and make decisions that align with who I am, not just what’s convenient.
