She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exhibit and Graphic Design from VF University and an Associate Degree in Technical Management from the Professional School of Engineering and Architecture, grounding her creative vision in strong technical foundations. Her deep understanding of design systems—such as Octanorm, Agam, and custom architectural structures—has positioned her as a go-to expert in trade show and experiential design.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ekaterina is passionate about giving back and empowering others. She donates clothing overseas to help prevent trafficking, demonstrating her commitment to using creativity and compassion to make a positive global impact. The best career advice I’ve ever received is to make diverse connections. Building relationships with people from different backgrounds and industries has opened doors to new opportunities, perspectives, and ideas that have helped me grow both personally and professionally.

My advice to young women entering this industry is to build a strong foundation. Take the time to learn the fundamentals, master your craft, and understand the core principles of the work. A solid base will give you the confidence and credibility to grow, adapt, and succeed as you advance in your career.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is navigating the fast-paced, often organized chaos that comes with the work. It requires constant adaptability and the ability to stay focused under pressure. At the same time, this dynamic environment creates incredible opportunities for growth—there’s always room to learn, evolve, and advance for those who are willing to embrace the challenge.

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are trust, authenticity, and genuine connection. I believe in being real and transparent with others, fostering relationships built on mutual respect and honesty.
