Elise Glover: Being an influential woman to me means leading by example. When I was a teenager, I had a lot of followers and I had a lot of young ladies that looked up to me, but what I lacked was Mentorship and leadership to help me to get to the next level and set the right example for the people that looked up to me.
What's one piece of advice you would give to younger women chasing their dreams?
Elise Glover: One piece of advice I can give to younger women chasing their dreams is to separate yourself from the crowd, because the crowd, it may look appealing and fun and exciting in the beginning, but it's only there to distract you and to derail you from your purpose. So, the smart thing to do would be to separate yourself from the crowd, get to know yourself very well, pursue your dreams, your goals, your passions, develop yourself as a leader. Being, separated from the crowd automatically does develop you as a leader. It develops you as someone who can stand on their own, which is very valuable in today's society. So that's the piece of advice I would give you to separate yourself from the crowd and to focus on yourself and your passions.

About Elise
Elise Glover owns Sacred House Productions LLC, where she works as a music producer and DJ creating lo-fi hip-hop and house music for faith-based media, churches, and nonprofits. She entered the music, media, and entertainment industry around 2017 after an awakening that led her to pursue music production and DJing as a means to heal people with her music. Glover earned a bachelor's degree in media production, including audio and video production with a minor in music production, and recently completed a master's degree in public relations at Full Sail University with a 3.9 GPA. Her radio show, Sacred House Radio, is a music platform used to empower Christians through faith-inspired house music and storytelling. She is also an author of the book The Pulse of an Overcomer, which tells the story of how she went from being homeless to becoming a business owner. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and attributes her success and guidance to her faith. Based in Los Angeles, California, Glover operates her business from home, focusing on content creation, marketing, and music production.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Definitely God. If I wouldn't have encountered God when I was living in my car back in 2015, I wouldn't have the guidance, the wisdom, the blueprint, the vision, anything.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
A person close to me told me that the Lord has already healed me. It was like speaking into the future - my healing has already taken place, it just has not manifested yet, but it is already set in motion.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Make no excuses. Start with what you have. And just take the first step, and the second step will appear, and then the next step. Just don't be afraid to start, and keep going no matter what, no matter what obstacle comes your way, you are strong enough to overcome it. And you have everything inside you that you need to be successful.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Music for media is huge right now. There are many businesses and brands that need music for their media assets to enhance their reputation. My biggest challenge right now managing all the tasks that come with being a business owner.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value my relationship with Jesus Christ, love, community, my heritage, culture, integrity, visionary leadership, consistency, education.

When you read my bio, you may see me as a DJ and music producer—and you'd be correct. However, I'm also a communications strategist who uses storytelling to connect everything I do. I use my voice to uplift, empower, and inspire. Empowerment comes naturally to me, and I weave it into the content I create on LinkedIn.
My Christian background also influences the way I connect with my audience. I often use parables, much like Jesus did. Parables are a powerful storytelling tool, and they can produce stronger marketing and public relations outcomes by helping people connect emotionally with a message.
Today, I'd like to share the storytelling framework I use on LinkedIn.
Hook – Parable – CTA
The framework is simple:
Hook: A short, attention-grabbing opening that draws people in immediately.
Parable: The story that follows the hook and provides context. It includes a problem, a solution, and the result of applying that solution.
Call to Action (CTA): The final step tells your audience exactly what you want them to do next, whether that's signing up for something, following your page, commenting, liking, sharing, or taking another specific action.
This framework works across virtually any social media platform. Whether you're writing a long-form LinkedIn post or creating a short video, the structure remains effective.
In this example, we're using it to drive engagement. Storytelling naturally captures people's attention, encouraging them to connect with your message and take action.
Bonus Tip
If you have a prophetic gift and believe the Lord has given you a message to share, you can thoughtfully weave that into your storytelling. When done authentically, it can make your content feel especially relevant to those who need to hear it. When people feel a message speaks directly to them, they're more likely to engage and respond.
