Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the experience of caring for my mother as her caregiver until her passing in 2009. That profound experience ignited a deep passion for caregiving and inspired me to dedicate myself to understanding and excelling in this field. It taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of providing compassionate, high-quality care, which continue to guide my professional journey today.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to embrace every opportunity for growth, no matter how unexpected it may seem. My own journey from caregiver to operations consultant at a healthcare system in Arizona taught me that each role, challenge, and responsibility builds valuable skills. Navigating complexities like remote work and implementing data strategies reinforced the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and approaching every challenge as a chance to develop professionally.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is ensuring that leaders consistently follow through on directives and fulfill their responsibilities. This requires not only clear communication and accountability structures but also fostering a culture where expectations are understood and upheld. At the same time, it presents an opportunity to strengthen leadership development, improve organizational efficiency, and create systems that support consistent performance across all levels.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are growth, perseverance, and ambition. I am committed to continually improving myself and striving for success, as each promotion and achievement has shaped the career and life I have today. These values drive me to set high standards, embrace challenges, and consistently pursue excellence.
