Her Interview
Ten minutes with Erica
01What do you attribute your success to?
First to God, who has given me guidance throughout the years through biblical principles, plus guiding me to the many people along the way to help mentor me in leadership skills. I would be remiss to not share the importance of continuing to learn through reading, education, and meditation.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
You never fail unless you stop trying.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Your only limit is you. Your brain is the key to your currency, confidence and connections. When you learn to use your brain in the right ways everything else begins to fall in line. Not without trials or tribulations but in ways that create you overcoming the storms life hands you.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I believe one of the greatest challenges for most people is sustaining their energy without burning out which is why I love to share about this area because I had a brain injury in a body crash a few years ago, which contributed from me over, performing and not taking rest when my body needed it.
I believe one of the greatest opportunities in our world right now is the ability to globally make an impact through virtual platforms.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I believe your values are at the core of everything you do here are a few of mine:
I Value - People, Honesty, Truth, Integrity, and Tenacity.
I believe we are all intricately connected therefore it is important to remember this as we work to help one another and create a better world.
