Her Interview
Ten minutes with Erica
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of tenacity, personal determination, and the unwavering support of my family. My family has always encouraged me to pursue my goals, providing the motivation and confidence to continue growing both personally and professionally. Equally important is my own persistence and strong work ethic. I approach every challenge with the mindset that obstacles are opportunities to find solutions, and I remain committed to seeing things through to completion. This resilience, combined with a deep sense of purpose and accountability, has enabled me to overcome challenges, achieve meaningful results, and continue making a positive impact in the communities and organizations I serve.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide both my professional and personal life are accountability, follow-through, and meaningful impact. I believe there is great value in seeing initiatives through to completion and ensuring that the goals we set are fully realized. I often describe this as "closing the loop"—starting with a clear vision, remaining committed throughout the process, and delivering measurable results. Whether leading community initiatives, building partnerships, or supporting others, I find the greatest fulfillment in knowing that our efforts have made a lasting difference. For me, success is not simply about beginning a project; it is about completing it with excellence, integrity, and a positive outcome for everyone involved.
