Esther Baker is a multifaceted creative professional with more than a decade of experience across music, film, and entertainment. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, she is a musician, filmmaker, music composer, writer, and producer with a passion for bringing stories to life through both sound and visual media. Her creative work encompasses music writing, recording, composition, screenwriting, production, and post-production, allowing her to contribute to projects from concept through completion.
Esther has developed her expertise through both professional experience and formal education. She has worked as a filmmaker and music composer with Marvel Entertainment, a film producer with STAR Productions Studios, and a filmmaker with the Golden Globe Foundation. She has also pursued her passion for music through Dove Music, where she has worked as a music composer since 2015, while building her entrepreneurial experience as the founder and CEO of Amnesiia Apparel. She earned an associate's degree in Music Production from the Los Angeles Film School and previously studied physics at Utah Valley University.
Beyond her professional roles, Esther continues to develop original creative projects that showcase her abilities as a writer, director, and storyteller. Her projects include Heartstrings, a modern-day Cinderella-inspired story about a young woman who dreams of marriage, as well as X-MEN Life of Storm, a collaboration associated with Marvel and STAR Productions Studios. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my commitment to my son and my future children. My family inspires me to work hard. GOD Professionalism and dedication are the standards I live by.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received has come from mentors who encouraged me to stay focused, keep learning, and build meaningful relationships. I’m grateful for the guidance of people like George Russell, Roman, and career advisor Chris Brown, whose mentorship and friendship have had a lasting impact on my career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never give up on your dreams and goals. Stay determined, believe in yourself, and keep pursuing the opportunities which keep you moving forward.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in my field is expanding my reach through publishing and connecting with new audiences. I recently published my book, Heartstrings, with Dorrance Publishing and am preparing for a book tour with Barnes & Noble.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family and professionalism are the values that matter most to me. My son is my top priority, and while I am committed to my career, being there for my family always comes first all the time.
