What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success first and foremost to God, who has given me the gift to serve others in this profession. Alongside that, my knowledge of the industry and my genuine passion for what I do have been key drivers. When you truly enjoy your work and focus on helping people, it no longer feels like a job—it becomes a purpose. That passion gives me the motivation to continue growing and serving my clients at the highest level.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I’ve ever received is that success in this industry is built on relationships. Clients can immediately sense sincerity, and I have always prioritized trust over transactions. I focus on educating my clients about their policies so they fully understand their coverage and can make informed decisions. Insurance is not just a product—it is a promise to restore stability in times of loss, and I take that responsibility seriously.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Insurance, particularly in the farm and ranch sector, can be a male-dominated field, so it is essential to lead with integrity, knowledge, and confidence. Be a person of your word and stand firm in your expertise. Recognition may not always come, but the fulfillment of helping clients protect their livelihoods is incredibly rewarding. Stay resilient, continue learning, and let your professionalism and reliability set you apart.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges today is finding skilled and dedicated support staff, as well as keeping up with continuing education requirements in a demanding schedule. Additionally, the rise of automation and AI presents both a challenge and an opportunity. While technology can enhance efficiency, it will never replace the value of personal relationships. Agents who continue to prioritize human connection and exceptional service will stand out and thrive in this evolving landscape.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, integrity, and education are the core values that guide both my professional and personal life. I strongly believe in building face-to-face relationships with my clients, often meeting them in their homes to truly understand their needs. My passion lies in helping people, and that drives everything I do. Maintaining trust, staying committed to continuous learning, and putting clients first are principles that define my approach to both business and life.
