Gail Morin
A lifelong educator and storyteller, she spent her career working with children in many settings, including daycare, substitute teaching, and Catholic schools. In her final years of teaching, she embraced virtual learning, continuing to reach and inspire students in new ways.
Her wide range of classroom experiences gave her a deep understanding of children’s curiosity, imagination, and need for meaningful stories—something that naturally shaped her journey into writing.
She is the creator of Detective Sam and the Bible Time Travelers, an animated series designed to make Scripture come alive through adventure, music, and discovery. If the series is picked up by a network, she plans to visit local schools, churches, and daycares to read her book and engage children with Bible-based questions and fun, interactive games.
She is also preparing for her book launch in November 2026, marking an exciting next step in her mission to bring faith-filled storytelling to families.
Through her work, she hopes to spark faith, creativity, and strong values in the hearts of children everywhere.

What do you attribute your success to?
“My success comes from years of hands-on experience with children, a strong foundation in education, and a passion for creating faith-based stories that connect with families.”
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
“The best career advice I’ve ever received is to use my real-life experiences as fuel for my work—because authenticity connects with people more than perfection.”
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
“I would tell young women to trust their ideas, stay persistent, and not be discouraged by slow beginnings. Every experience builds your skills and your confidence.”
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge right now in faith-based children’s animation is standing out in a very crowded digital space where content is often fast, short-form, and heavily influenced by algorithms. It can also be challenging to secure consistent funding and distribution for values-based projects that compete with larger mainstream studios.
At the same time, there are incredible opportunities. There is a growing demand from families for safe, meaningful, and faith-centered content that helps children learn strong values in a positive way. With streaming platforms, YouTube, and digital-first storytelling, creators now have more direct access to global audiences than ever before.
For me personally, I see this moment as a chance to combine education, faith, and animation in a way that truly connects with children—helping them not only be entertained, but also inspired and shaped by timeless biblical principles.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
“The values most important to me are faith, compassion, honesty, and perseverance. In both my work and personal life, I try to treat people with kindness and create things that have a positive impact.”
