What do you attribute your success to?
The biggest advice I got is, no matter what, just show up. Consistency is key. Sometimes people get super excited over a new career, a new position, or whatnot, but then that fire kind of dies down and they lose the motto, they lose that energy, and that's why people are not happy. But when you're consistent, whether you're not feeling well, or something's going on at home, or something's going on in the world, you're consistently showing up, no matter what. That will bring the results, whether you're trying to build your career, or you're studying, or you're trying to build your business. I think showing up every day and showing consistency is probably the best advice I've ever gotten from a very successful business person. And believe it or not, it applies even when I teach my kids. I always tell them, showing up is giving you 50% of success. Just the fact that you actually got up is already going to get you further than the ones that are free-spirited, like 'I want to go, or I don't want to go, whatever.' I don't feel like it, or the weather's bad, or my mood is not good - none of that matters. Just show up.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Just show up. Showing up is giving you 50% of success. Just the fact that you actually got up is already going to get you further than the ones that are free-spirited, like 'Oh, I want to go, or I don't want to go, whatever.' What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I provide valuable educational services. On top of doing bookkeeping and accounting for clients, a lot of times I just offer free education and help people stay organized with their finances. I give people peace of mind knowing that their numbers are okay and they're safe when it comes to audits and taxes. My motto is 'givers get' - I give a lot of my energy, my time, my effort, my dedication to all of my clients, regardless if it's a small pop shop or if it's a medium to large business that I am acting as a fractional CFO. I give the same equal energy, and that's why people love working with me. Consistency is crucial - showing up every day no matter what, whether you're not feeling well or something's going on at home or in the world. That consistency will bring results.
