About Genaya

I started my career in customer service, working in retail, grocery stores, and call centers before transitioning into my first corporate role in benefits integration almost 2 years ago. This has been my first job in a corporate benefits type of role, and I absolutely love it. In my current position, I work with multiple groups at a time, helping them either integrate their benefits or go through open enrollment for their company. My typical day involves checking emails, assisting clients, taking and making calls, and doing project work on the side for my team, which includes using AI for agents and collaborating with my managers to develop different projects that help our team work better. I also provide training here and there. One of my proudest achievements is being promoted from a level 3 to level 4 advocate within about a year of starting, which my manager told me doesn't happen very often. I worked really hard to get there, and it's a huge achievement, especially with me just starting out in the role. Right now, I'm also a full-time student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I'm currently pre-business but working toward a major in business administration with a focus in human resources. I'm hoping to graduate by the end of next year. I grew up around human resources since my mom is a human resources specialist and director, so I'm excited to continue building my career in this field. I love where I work and who I work with, and I'm really looking forward to growing with the company after I graduate.
