I realized my story was still being written when I stopped waiting for opportunities and started creating them, treating my career as something I own, not something I follow.

Her Interview
Ten minutes with Grecia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the opportunity I was given as an immigrant—and the decision to fully own it. That experience shaped my resilience, work ethic, and perspective, but more importantly, it taught me to take initiative and create opportunities rather than wait for them.
It’s also what pushed me to think beyond traditional career paths, continuously learn, and build something of my own. I’ve approached every role with a sense of ownership and intention, focusing not just on doing the work, but on driving meaningful impact.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to focus on impact over activity.
It changed the way I approach my work, prioritizing what actually moves the business forward instead of just staying busy. It’s shaped how I make decisions, how I measure success, and how I show up in every role.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Focus on building skills that make you valuable, not just staying busy, and take ownership earlier than you think you’re ready for.
Early in your career, it’s easy to get caught up in doing everything, but real growth comes from understanding how your work drives results. The sooner you approach your work with ownership and focus on impact, the faster you’ll stand out.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest shifts in my field right now is how quickly AI is reshaping the way go-to-market teams operate. It’s creating a significant opportunity for those who adapt, enabling faster execution, better insights, and more scalable systems, but it’s also raising the bar. The real challenge is not just adopting new tools, but evolving how you think and work. Those who move quickly and intentionally will have a clear advantage, while those who don’t risk falling behind.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value ownership, clarity, and continuous growth.
In my work, that means taking responsibility for outcomes, not just execution, and focusing on what actually drives impact. I’m intentional about how I spend my time, how I make decisions, and how I contribute to the bigger picture.
Personally, I value authenticity and growth, creating a life that feels aligned, while continuing to evolve and challenge myself. Those values shape how I show up in both my work and my relationships.
