Lady Hajira Buser has over 20 years of experience across multiple fields and continents. She started as a teacher in public education, then moved into heritage brand VIP engagement. A cornerstone of her legacy is the restoration of a historic Warbird—the same that saved her grandfather’s life. The bomber now tours the country with information about the horrors of war, with hopes that future generations continue to learn from it. Her hope is that as a society, we continue to evolve instead of repeating mistakes of the past. She has collected a couple of master's degrees and lived and toured the desert with bedouin. Working as experience architecture and founding a ballroom dance atelier, she calls herself a student and research fellow. Some days she is in an artistic world looking at choreography for a wedding routine, or she might be in a different cerebral zone, revising an article for peer-review submission. As an English language learner herself, she loves languages. She believes linguistic diversity is very important for our world and that all systems are interconnected.
"My ballroom journey started organically," Lady Hajira shares. "I simply wanted a space to practice my waltz arms away from the weights being dropped at the gym. I realized that ambiance—the mood, lighting, and music—is essential to how I experience dance. What began as a personal sanctuary grew into an international dance atelier. It came together very synergistically. I wasn't planning to be an instructor, but how can I say no to helping others find their groove?"

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a triad of love 🩷 dedication 🩷 & luck ✨
I have been profoundly blessed with some wonderful mentors on my path.
Though the mentorship of many, connection with some, and internal passion exclusive, I strive to be of service. Being a board member of a charity, an acquaintance reached out and said they had listed me as a donor before they had a chance to connect with me. Her certainty of my response makes me happy, that my inner circle and community knows I am capable, can be counted on, and am willing to be of service. I consider that being successful.
Refining one's ability to cook and garden I think are part of how a person can best human.
I take culinary course as “souvenirs” of my travels and highly recommend this practice.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I see challenges in sensory governance in terms of how public and private spaces are designed, especially in North America.
Beauty, delighting in the senses, is a human right.
