About Heather
Heather Davidson is a dedicated educator and aspiring school leader with extensive experience in secondary education, specializing in English instruction, STEM education, and special education advocacy. Currently serving as an English Teacher at Davenport Community Schools, she has built a reputation for fostering student success through differentiated instruction, standards-based grading, curriculum design, and evidence-based educational frameworks such as Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Her commitment to meeting the diverse needs of learners has made her a respected educator and mentor within the classroom and beyond.
In addition to her teaching career, Heather is the founder of Faithful Educational Services, where she works as an educational consultant helping parents and educators navigate the complexities of the special education system. Her passion for supporting students with unique learning needs is rooted in both her professional expertise and personal commitment to ensuring equitable educational opportunities. Through consulting, coaching, and advocacy, she empowers families and educators with the knowledge and resources needed to help every student thrive.
Heather earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, complementing her Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from Grand View University. As she continues pursuing leadership opportunities as an assistant principal, principal, or dean of students, Heather remains committed to inspiring educational excellence, building collaborative school communities, and supporting the next generation of learners. Guided by faith, perseverance, and a passion for servant leadership, she strives to create lasting, positive change in education through compassionate leadership and continuous professional growth.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to determination, perseverance, and a genuine commitment to making a difference. I remain motivated by the opportunity to keep growing while supporting and empowering the next generation of learners to achieve their full potential.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't stop asking questions. Ask for help when you don't know the answer to something, because once you stop asking questions, you isolate yourself. In the education field, we're always learning, we're always trying to better ourselves.
