About Isabella
My journey into social media marketing began in college, where I was fortunate to have a professor and advisor, Mathias Klang, who taught many of my digital marketing courses. His passion for the field was contagious, and the way he spoke about digital marketing made me see it in an entirely new light. Through his classes, I realized that social media—something I had always been interested in personally—could also become a meaningful and rewarding career. He introduced me to the strategic side of social media and helped me understand its impact on brands, communities, people and culture.
As I approached graduation, I began researching companies that were truly pushing the boundaries of social marketing. That search led me to VaynerX. While they work with major brands, their focus is always on the audience, understanding who is consuming the content and why it matters to them. I spent more than two years at VaynerX, where I built a strong foundation in social, creative, and brand strategy.
Earlier this year, I joined Grey, a WPP agency, where I've been since January and have thoroughly enjoyed the transition. Today, my expertise centers on social media and creative strategy and understanding how platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and X continuously evolve. I focus on helping brands understand not only how these platforms work, but how they can show up authentically and effectively within each community.
In my current role, I work across a diverse portfolio of brands, including Corona, Pantene, the City of Las Vegas, and Swisher Sweets. My work spans campaign development, social and creative strategy, community management and retail activation, ensuring that campaigns are cohesive both online and offline. I also lead community management efforts for several brands, including managing Vegas' Instagram and TikTok presence. Whether I'm engaging with audiences in comments, responding to direct messages, or participating in platform conversations, I help bring each brand's voice to life in real time.
Outside of my agency work, I freelance as a social media advisor, partnering with emerging authors to develop social strategies, define their online voice, and build engaged communities around their work. Helping individuals and brands tell their stories authentically remains one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute much of my success to the unwavering support of my friends and family. They’ve been my biggest source of encouragement, consistently pushing me to grow, challenge myself, and strive to be the best version of who I can be. Through every achievement and every setback, they’ve offered unconditional love, support, and perspective. Knowing that they believe in me, and that they’ll be there for me no matter the outcome, has given me the confidence to keep moving forward and pursue new opportunities. Their support has been a constant foundation throughout my personal and professional journey.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is simple: try everything.
You never know what opportunities, interests, or passions you’ll discover unless you’re willing to step outside of your comfort zone. Every day brings new experiences, and some of the most rewarding opportunities may come from places you never expected. That’s why I believe in staying open-minded, saying yes when you can, and being willing to explore paths that may not immediately seem like the perfect fit.
I often share this advice with the college students I mentor. Many of them feel pressure to have their entire career mapped out before they graduate, and I always remind them that very few people have it all figured out from the start. Your early career is a time to experiment, learn, and discover what excites you. If you try something and it’s not for you, that’s still valuable, you’ve learned more about yourself and what you want. And if you try something and love it, you may have found a path you never would have considered otherwise.
Careers aren’t built through certainty; they’re built through experience. The more willing you are to explore, the more likely you are to find opportunities that challenge, inspire, and fulfill you. So my advice is simple: stay curious, stay flexible, and try it all.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Raise your voice. As women, it can be easy to feel like we should sit back and allow others' opinions, experiences, and expertise to take center stage. Especially when you're early in your career, there's often a tendency to defer to those with more tenure and assume they have all the answers. But that simply isn't true. Your perspective matters. Your ideas, experiences, and insights are just as valuable as anyone else's in the room. You bring a unique point of view shaped by your own background, lived experiences, and understanding of the world, perspectives that others may not have and may never fully understand. That diversity of thought is what drives better conversations, stronger ideas, and more meaningful work. So don't be afraid to speak up, even when it's uncomfortable. Even when you're nervous. Even when you're questioning whether what you have to say is important enough. Some of the most impactful contributions come from people who are willing to share a different perspective. Trust yourself, trust your voice, and know that you have earned your seat at the table. When you have something to say, say it. Your voice deserves to be heard.
