About Iulia
Iulia Stefoi-Silver is a technology executive with more than 20 years of experience driving innovation, strategic partnerships, and business growth across the cybersecurity and enterprise software industries. As Vice President of Alliances and Strategy at Cyberhaven, she leads the development of strategic alliances and ecosystem partnerships that accelerate market expansion, strengthen technology integrations, and enable organizations to securely embrace AI and data-driven innovation. Known for her strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style, she excels at building high-performing partner ecosystems that deliver long-term business value.
Iulia began her career as a software engineer and developer, writing code before transitioning into product management, where she progressed from business analyst to executive leadership roles. Throughout her career, she has successfully led the development and commercialization of enterprise products, combining technical expertise with business strategy. During her time at AirWatch, she helped guide the evolution of the company's products into an integrated platform centered on strategic partnerships and technology integrations. She later led platform and backend initiatives at Ionic, further expanding her expertise in enterprise platforms. These experiences naturally led her into business development, where she has built and executed global alliance strategies focused on strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, OEM relationships, technology alliances, channel partners, and reseller ecosystems. Prior to joining Cyberhaven, she held executive leadership positions at Seraphic Security, Obsidian Security, and BigID, where she successfully built and scaled global partnership programs.
A graduate of Babeș-Bolyai University with a bachelor's degree in computer science, Iulia combines deep technical knowledge with exceptional commercial acumen. She is passionate about leading with transparency, integrity, and trust while creating opportunities for others to succeed. A strong advocate for women in technology, she is committed to mentoring emerging leaders, fostering inclusive collaboration, and helping others amplify their voices within the industry. 01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to never let anyone diminish your confidence, ambition, or drive simply because it makes others uncomfortable. Believe in your abilities, remain resilient in the face of challenges, and pursue opportunities with confidence. As you advance in your career, make it a priority to mentor and support others by creating opportunities, amplifying their voices, and encouraging them to be visible and engaged. True leadership is not only about achieving success but also about empowering the next generation to succeed alongside you.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is that it remains predominantly male-dominated, which can require women to work harder to establish credibility and gain equal opportunities for leadership. At the same time, this presents a significant opportunity to drive meaningful change by increasing representation, fostering inclusive workplaces, and mentoring the next generation of women leaders. As more women step into influential roles and support one another, the industry continues to benefit from diverse perspectives, stronger collaboration, and more innovative solutions.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide both my professional and personal life are transparency, honesty, and trust. I believe in being direct and upfront about goals, expectations, and intentions, as open communication builds strong, lasting relationships. I also value serving as a connector bringing people together, opening doors to new opportunities, and fostering meaningful collaborations that create mutual success.
