About Jaisy
Jaisy Prem, CFP®, MBA, is an experienced financial professional dedicated to making financial wellness more accessible through education, guidance, and personalized planning. Based in Fresno, California, Jaisy serves as a Financial Planner, helping individuals better understand their complete financial picture and make informed money decisions aligned with their personal values. Her areas of expertise include financial wellness, financial education, insurance planning, budgeting, cash-flow management, retirement planning, and financial coaching. She holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation and Series 66 license, complemented by an MBA in Finance and a certificate in Financial Planning.
Jaisy’s career in finance began after several years in corporate and independent finance roles, including experience with Cisco and Principal Financial Group. At Principal, she provided small-business financial planning, led 401(k) educational sessions, and conducted financial wellness seminars for nonprofit and corporate employees, earning both the Pacesetter and Century Club Awards early in her tenure. She later transitioned more fully into financial planning and wellness, discovering a particular passion for helping people approach finances with greater confidence. Jaisy is especially committed to supporting women in their 20s and 30s who are beginning their careers and seeking practical guidance on budgeting, taxes, benefits, and long-term financial goals.
Jaisy attributes her success to showing up even when circumstances are difficult, remaining resourceful, embracing opportunities, and refusing to give up when an initial path does not work out. Earning her CFP certification became an important turning point that helped her recognize how deeply she enjoys educating and empowering others. She values hard work, integrity, sincerity, and maintaining a healthy balance between her professional and personal life. Outside of work, Jaisy enjoys traveling with her husband, exploring different cultures and cuisines, practicing Pilates, attending concerts, and spending time with friends. She also recently welcomed a puppy named Java, inspired by her Indonesian heritage and her love of coffee.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to consistently showing up, being resourceful, finding solutions, and never giving up. I embrace opportunities by saying yes, staying open to where they may lead, and pivoting toward work that feels fulfilling. Earning my CSP was a turning point that revealed a passion for my work I had not expected.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to reflect on how you want to contribute to those around you, explore different interests, and pursue what genuinely fulfills you. Embrace every opportunity, commit to lifelong learning, and maintain a growth mindset by making professional development a continuous priority throughout your career.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I was drawn to finance by my passion for people and enthusiasm for financial planning. I take great pride in serving as a fiduciary, providing clients with trusted consulting and mentorship to help them achieve greater financial well-being and success.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The value most important to me is maintaining a healthy balance between my professional responsibilities and family life. I cherish my husband and children and remain committed to being present for them while wholeheartedly pursuing my passion and life’s purpose. For me, success means combining dedication and determination in my career with keeping my family a central priority.
