About Jelesa

Jelesa Hardin is a community leader, psychology graduate, and founder of Youth Lead Mentoring, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering at-risk youth through mentorship, leadership development, and emotional support. After overcoming early childhood loss, educational setbacks, and personal adversity, she transformed her lived experience into a mission to help young people rewrite their futures. With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Jelesa combines evidence-based insight with deep compassion to support youth navigating trauma, academic challenges, and identity development.


As a thought leader, advocate, and speaker, Jelesa is known for bridging psychology, resilience, and community engagement to create sustainable pathways for healing and success.
