About Jennifer

Jennifer Lee is an operator and executive at Novita Pharmaceuticals, where she has worked for nearly three years. With 25 years in the biotech and life sciences industry, she previously held roles at Fortune 100 pharmaceutical companies including GD Searle, Pharmacia, and Pfizer. Her expertise centers on guiding biotech companies through clinical development to product launch, regulatory compliance, and capital strategies, having contributed to the successful launch of nine innovative, first-in-class therapies across more than 100 countries. She also serves as a venture partner at Cancer Fund and as a limited partner at How Women Invest, focusing on investments in women-led companies and affordable therapies. Jennifer earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an M.S. in Regulatory Compliance from Northwestern University. She completed two AI certificates at MIT, one in AI for Biotech and Pharma and another for Senior Executives, and is an Investments Fellow at the Material Change Institute. She is a member of the Private Directors Association, How Women Lead (where she chairs the executive board in Chicago), the Healthcare Business Association, and serves as a mentor at Vanderbilt University and Northwestern University. In 2025, she was named Directors to Watch by the Private Directors Association.
