Jennifer Kosiba is a highly regarded Public Adjuster and Director of Operations at Manhattan Public Adjustment, where she specializes in managing large and complex fire and water damage claims. Over the past six years, she has built a reputation for her precision, advocacy, and results-driven approach, securing multi-million-dollar recoveries for policyholders, including a $2.2M apartment complex fire in Middletown, CT, a $1.7M historic townhouse water loss in Gramercy Park, and a $1.7M six-alarm fire in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

In addition to her operational leadership, Jennifer serves as the New York State Legislative Director for the American Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (A.A.P.I.A.), where she advocates for fair regulations and policyholder protections. Her dual role as both an industry leader and legislative voice positions her as one of the most dynamic adjusters in the field.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance, cum laude, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she graduated with top honors, consistently earning Dean’s List recognition. She has also obtained her IICRC certification in Fire & Water Restoration and is a licensed Public Adjuster in New York, New Jersey, Conneticut, Florida, California, and Texas.

A long-standing member of AAPIA and an active patron of the Arts, Jennifer blends technical expertise with cultural engagement and community leadership. Prior to her work in insurance adjusting, she gained extensive experience in finance and talent acquisition, including a decade as a financial analyst and right-hand to Michael Tokarz, former General Partner with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR).

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute much of my success to a strong work ethic instilled by my parents and to the guidance of my mentor, Michael Tokarz, one of the founding partners of KKR. Their influence has shaped my approach to leadership, integrity, and excellence throughout my career.
