She specializes in managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments, often working across product, marketing, technical, and executive teams to ensure alignment and to influence measurable business outcomes. Her work focuses on turning platform capabilities into real operational value for customers, particularly within fast-evolving enterprise AI and SaaS ecosystems.

Her professional philosophy is rooted in empathy, transparency, accountability, and active listening. She takes a consultative, customer-first approach to every engagement, emphasizing the importance of truly understanding client goals before recommending solutions. Jessica is known for building trust through clear communication, consistent follow-through, and a steady focus on outcomes rather than activity. She believes strong customer success is built on long-term partnership, where credibility is earned through reliability, honesty, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable strategy and results.

With more than seven years of experience spanning customer success and digital marketing, Jessica has developed a well-rounded perspective across both retail and SaaS environments. Her career includes prior roles at companies such as Bluecore and other leading marketing technology organizations, where she supported enterprise clients, improved retention metrics, and contributed to revenue growth through structured success planning and campaign optimization. She transitioned from retail into the vendor side of the industry while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, reflecting both determination and continuous professional development. Outside of her corporate career, she is also the founder of BodiedByBeam, where she teaches Pilates and promotes wellness, balance, and physical strength as a complement to her high-performance corporate career.

Ten minutes with Jessica

01What do you attribute your success to?

Jessica attributes her success to a strong foundation in relationship-building, communication, and a consistent focus on helping others achieve meaningful outcomes. She began her career in retail and client-facing roles, where she developed her interpersonal strengths, and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth at every stage of her journey. Her transition into the vendor side of the business led her into customer success, where she found a natural alignment between marketing, advocacy, sales collaboration, and long-term relationship management. Today, with more than seven years of experience in customer success, she helps organizations strengthen client relationships, improve retention, and identify strategic growth opportunities while also supporting individuals through her work as a certified Pilates instructor and founder of Bodied by Beam. She credits her success to emotional intelligence, empathy, active listening, accountability, and transparency, with a core belief in listening to understand rather than respond. Her approach shaped in part by influential learning on effective communication—centers on building trust, navigating complex conversations with care, and consistently acting as a reliable advocate for both clients and colleagues.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the most impactful pieces of career advice Jessica has ever received came from a TED Talk emphasizing the importance of listening to understand rather than listening to respond. This simple but powerful principle fundamentally shaped how she approaches communication in both her professional and personal life. By prioritizing active listening, she has been able to build stronger relationships, uncover underlying client needs, and deliver more thoughtful and effective solutions. Over time, she has found that trust, influence, and long-term success are built when people feel genuinely heard, respected, and valued.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Jessica encourages young women entering customer success, sales, marketing, or other client-facing roles to trust their intuition and not wait until they feel fully prepared before pursuing opportunities. She believes growth comes from action, and that confidence is built through experience rather than perfection. Early in her career, she learned the importance of stepping forward even while still developing her skills, and she now encourages others to do the same with courage and self-trust. She emphasizes the value of strong active listening, emotional intelligence, and the ability to truly understand client needs beyond surface-level conversations. Jessica also advises developing awareness of body language, seeking honest feedback, and becoming comfortable navigating difficult or high-stakes conversations with professionalism and clarity. She encourages young professionals to challenge assumptions, reframe challenges as learning opportunities, and remain open to continuous development. Above all, she believes success is built through consistent action, resilience, and the willingness to grow through every experience.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Jessica sees customer success as a rapidly evolving field driven by increasing emphasis on customer experience, retention, and measurable business outcomes, where the role has shifted from reactive support to strategic partnership across sales, product, and executive teams. She recognizes that a key challenge in the industry is navigating complex stakeholder environments while consistently proving value and adapting to higher customer expectations, alongside a broader opportunity to strengthen confidence and representation for women in client-facing and leadership roles. Jessica believes women often bring strong natural strengths in empathy, communication, and emotional intelligence, but may hesitate to pursue opportunities until they feel fully prepared, which makes self-advocacy and confidence-building especially important for career growth. At the same time, she sees significant opportunity in the continued expansion of customer success as a strategic function, particularly as organizations invest more heavily in customer retention, experience, and AI-driven solutions, creating demand for professionals who can blend relationship management with data-driven insight to drive long-term business impact.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Transparency, trust, accountability, empathy, and service are the core values that guide Jessica’s personal and professional life. She believes that meaningful relationships whether with clients, colleagues, or community members are built through honest communication, consistency, and a genuine commitment to understanding and supporting others. These principles shape how she approaches her work in customer success as well as how she shows up in her personal relationships, emphasizing integrity, reliability, and care in every interaction. Outside of her professional role, Jessica is deeply committed to wellness and personal development through Pilates instruction, and she aspires to open her own Pilates studio that integrates movement, education, and holistic well-being to help others improve their quality of life. She also places strong importance on giving back, having volunteered with organizations supporting economically disadvantaged women as they re-enter the workforce through career development and professional branding. To maintain balance and clarity, she prioritizes self-care through solitude, reading, continued learning, and personal reflection, ensuring she shows up fully present in both her personal and professional life.
