About Jessica

Jessica Jeffery is the Founder, CEO, and Chief Creative Officer of Diace Designs, Inc., a nationally recognized strategic branding, proposal strategy, and creative consulting firm marking fifteen years in business. With more than two decades of experience spanning marketing, branding, and business development, she has carved out a distinctive niche as a recognized creative strategist in the airport concessions industry, supporting more than 65+ airport concession pursuits associated with terminal expansion projects across more than 36+ airports throughout the United States and Canada. Her work spans high-stakes proposal strategy and design, visual storytelling, and strategic branding for organizations in aviation, hospitality, food and beverage, retail, and corporate sectors, and she has earned a reputation for thriving under tight deadlines and delivering results in high-pressure environments. Jessica believes great design should simplify complexity, build confidence, and solve real business problems, not simply look beautiful. She built her career on a foundation of transparency, trust, and long-term relationships – values she credits as the driving force behind her long list of repeat clients and referral-based growth.

Diace Designs is a certified Women's Business Enterprise through WBENC, and the firm's achievements have been recognized by outlets including the Tampa Bay Business Journal, Tampa Bay METRO Magazine, KNOW Magazine, and the Super Bowl LV Business Connect Program. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jessica is deeply invested in giving back to her community. She has contributed her time and expertise to organizations such as Dress for Success, a local community college's entrepreneurship program, and organizations supporting veterans, food banks, and adults with disabilities. She is equally committed to mentoring the next generation of professionals, frequently advising young women entering her field to set healthy boundaries early, seek mentorship widely, and build systems and relationships designed to scale. As she continues to grow Diace Designs, Jessica remains focused on empowering women in business and creating lasting impact through strategic branding, proposal strategy, and creative leadership.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jessica

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to building long-term relationships based on trust, transparency, and consistently delivering results. I view every client as a long-term partner, not just a project. By taking the time to understand their business, simplify complex challenges, and deliver high-quality work under demanding deadlines, I've been fortunate to build a business driven by repeat clients and referrals.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was that not every opportunity deserves a "yes," but the right one can completely change the trajectory of your career. More than 12 years ago, I said yes to a project in the airport concessions industry, knowing very little about it. Today, it's one of Diace Designs' core specialties. That experience taught me that sometimes the opportunity that changes your career is the one you almost talked yourself out of.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is to stay curious, ask questions, and never underestimate the value of building genuine relationships. Establish healthy boundaries early, find mentors who challenge and encourage you, and don't be afraid to reach out beyond your immediate circle. Every conversation is an opportunity to learn, grow, and gain a new perspective.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Technology and AI can accelerate execution, but they can't replace strategy, experience, or human insight. As these tools become more accessible, the value of strategic thinking becomes even greater. Great design has never been just about making something look good. It requires strategy, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of your audience. That's where experienced creative partners continue to provide the greatest value.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Transparency, trust, respect, and loyalty are the values that guide both my business and personal life. I believe in checking my ego at the door, listening first, and putting myself in my clients' shoes.
