Her Story
About Jessica
I genuinely enjoy helping companies use technology to optimize processes and deliver better products and services. I spent the first 15 years of my career leading change in call center operations before transitioning into IT, where I continue to drive transformation from behind the curtain.
Some of the most rewarding moments in my career have come from challenging the status quo. I believe that curiosity and the ability to bring people together around a common goal translate across industries, as many of the problems organizations face are fundamentally similar.
This moment in time—particularly with the rise of AI—is incredibly exciting. These tools allow us to access information, gain insights, and create new ideas at a speed and scale never before possible, and I’m eager to see how this continues to shape the future.

Ten minutes with Jessica
01What do you attribute your success to?
I’ve always viewed obstacles not as stopping points, but as challenges to overcome. I’m highly driven to deliver results, no matter the role I’m in—whether that’s leading an operations team or working alongside a group of engineers. Every role comes with problems that need solving, and I lean into that work rather than away from it. Persistence and resilience have been central to my success.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Ask questions.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women to think intentionally about what they enjoy doing and seek out careers where they can spend their time doing that. When I graduated from college, I don’t think I ever stopped to consider what I actually wanted to do all day—and that makes a huge difference. When you’re curious about your work, it’s easier to stay engaged, inspired, and fulfilled.
My advice is to be intentional when choosing roles. Instead of focusing solely on salary, look for opportunities that align with your passions—because that is possible. I’ve always loved travel, but it never occurred to me to intentionally pursue a role in the travel industry. Today, I still work in IT, but travel is the backdrop, and it has completely changed how my days feel.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The travel industry is operating in a period of significant uncertainty, as global leaders grapple with maintaining peace and economic stability. At the same time, there is growing demand for safe, reliable, yet unique travel experiences as people seek to explore more remote parts of the world.
When factors such as supply chain disruptions, civil unrest, war, and economic volatility are layered in, delivering travel products with consistent and reliable outcomes becomes increasingly complex.
One of the greatest opportunities for our industry—and many others—is the responsible use of artificial intelligence. AI has the potential to significantly improve productivity, reduce operational costs, and enhance individual creativity and output, helping organizations navigate disruption while continuing to innovate.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I thrive in spaces where honesty, curiosity, innovation, and simplicity are prioritized. Personally, I keep a small circle of people I deeply trust and care for—people I would go to great lengths for, knowing they would do the same for me. I’m intentional about protecting my time, because it’s the most valuable resource I have, and I believe it should be spent where it truly matters.
