She specializes in supporting women in achieving lasting behavior change, mindfulness, and creating ease within both acute and chronic health conditions. JiAna Rae’s coaching approach is grounded in respect, mindful listening, and integrative strategies that promote self-awareness, self-compassion, and whole-person well-being. She developed and utilizes a Personalized Health Plan for each client, guiding them to define optimal emotional and physical health goals, craft actionable steps, and establish accountability. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to building the self compassion component to healing within myself and my own Endometriosis, Adenomyosis journey. Finding community, practitioners, and doctors that believed me. Understanding in their own way what I was experiencing and could actually grasp the agony of endometriosis, adenomyosis, and other reproductive and chronic conditions. I diligently gathered current scientific findings and utilized integrative medicines and approaches. Building a robust advocacy attitude, staying determined, and maintaining a continuous eagerness to learn and grow. As she watched the dark ages of endometriosis fade into the enlightenment era coach JiAna Rae knew that her resolve would help forge her passion to become a powerful and caring advocate for the wide world of women with reproductive and autoimmune conditions.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
"Your story and experiences fuel your passion. Share your stories, be bold and vulnerable." "Small incremental steps equal big changes with time and continual effort." "Look for the glimmers in life." Glimmers are the moments of gratitude and or awareness for a thankful situation or outcome. "Beware of living in the gap and never celebrating the wins. No matter how small or massive, celebrate your wins everyday. Stop to be aware of reaching a goal or milestone and revel in that for a moment."
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering this industry to keep engaging with current scientific research and studies done on women's health. Build strong networks. Utilize the beginners mindset and growth mindset. Embrace leadership opportunities and strive to be a great mentor to others. Active listening and mindful discussions.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is raising awareness about the support I offer in helping others find and listen to their intuitive knowing of their own body and experience.
The opportunities to collaborate and build a networks of like mind women health professional is incredibly empowering. I am honored to be one of the many passionate professional advocates for women's health, rights, and validation. So many are struggling with incredibly difficult disease and we need to help support the women of our communities. Women have valuable insight to help themselves heal and thrive in their own unique ways. I help them build quality self guidance, self-compassion, and empower them to make positive, sustainable, and informed decisions for their health and lives.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Coach JiAna Rae values honesty, compassion, and honoring each persons unique qualities that make them them! Encouraging others to let their voices be heard. Grow and maintain self compassion. Most importantly, to me in both my work and personal life, is honoring the experiences within life and health trauma by active listening with compassion. Truly validating these experiences and feelings they provoke. Emotional and mental intelligence are two of the primary domains in human development. Emotions and thoughts play active roles in our physical and social health.
