She began her career in the hospitality industry, where she developed a people-first approach, adaptability, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. In 2020, Joanna transitioned into event technology and SaaS implementation, a pivotal move that introduced her to project management and ultimately revealed her professional niche. What began as a career pivot quickly became a purpose-driven path rooted in structure, collaboration, and impact.

Since then, Joanna has grown rapidly into leadership roles by applying PMP-certified best practices in fast-paced technology environments, empowering teams, streamlining operations, and building scalable delivery frameworks that drive momentum and results. Her leadership style centers on service — supporting teams, removing obstacles, and fostering environments where people can thrive and perform at their best. Deeply passionate about mentorship and continuous learning, Joanna actively helps others grow in their careers while advancing her own. She is currently pursuing her MBA, with an anticipated completion in September 2026, further strengthening her strategic and business leadership expertise.

Outside of her professional work, Joanna is a wife and proud mother of two young children. She believes that the skills developed through leadership and motherhood alike — resilience, empathy, and adaptability — are foundational to effective leadership.

I attribute my success to practicing servant leadership, continuously investing in my growth, and having the courage to embrace new opportunities. Believing in my capabilities and advocating for myself have been key to advancing my career.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received came from my father, a former fighter pilot and real-life hero, who taught me to advocate for myself, stay resilient, and consistently show up as the best version of myself in pursuit of excellence.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is do not wait until you feel ready — growth happens in motion. Embrace pivots, invest in learning, and lead with authenticity. The skills you build in every season of life, including motherhood, directly translate into stronger leadership.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field stem from the constant evolution of technology, including AI, which requires staying adaptable and continuously upskilling to deliver impactful experiences.

The values most important to me are servant leadership, empowering and mentoring others, committing to continuous learning, and maintaining a healthy balance between career and family life as a mother of two.
