About Joelle

Joelle Cogliati brings over three decades of experience to her work in performance therapy, specializing in professional athleticism, athletic massage, bodywork, and neuromuscular therapy. Her path began with an athletic journey marked by chronic pain, which inspired her to pursue vocational training including 1,300 hours in neuromuscular therapy, after which she became an ACE personal trainer. She later completed an additional 650 hours in somatic psychology massage school and earned 600 hours YRT certification through Yoga Alliance, along with wellness coach credentials from the Brave Thinking Institute. Joelle is a member of the Yoga Alliance and supports local community non-profits that rotate through her yoga studio. She attributes her longevity in the field to her passion for helping others, viewing it as her ikigai and one of her true life purposes. In her practice, she emphasizes the importance of presence, gratitude, breathwork, and meditation, noting that the most powerful tools for healing are often the simplest ones. Joelle advises clients and practitioners alike to choose their path with passion, recognizing the opportunity for personal health and wellness as a key benefit.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Joelle

01What do you attribute your success to?

It's passion for helping others. It's definitely my ikigai. It's definitely one of my true life purposes. What I share is definitely what I was meant to share, and still will continue to.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

If you have a client that you don't look forward to seeing, it's time to fire that client. You don't hang on to that money. You want to open that door for something expansive that has a better energetic exchange for you and for them.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Choose it with passion. And an opportunity for the greatest side effect to be your own health, and wellness.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The industry gets watered down with more online training and fewer schools. State regulations are low with varying hours required, some states zero. Opportunity: one of the only professions still allowed to touch people, hands-on healing arts. Everything you are is what you will impart down to the cellular level within seconds of touching someone.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Presence, gratitude, and breathwork. Meditation. Just keep breathing. The most powerful tools we have to heal are always the simplest ones.
