Jolanda Logan is a Fortune 500 communications executive, certified transformation coach, and founder of the #GetBetterBeBetterDoBetter movement. With more than two decades of experience in corporate communications and public relations, she has held leadership roles supporting major global brands including Walmart, Coca-Cola, and Starbucks. Her work has included media relations, strategic communications, and executive-level messaging, along with national television appearances on programs such as The View, the CBS Early Show, and The Tyra Banks Show. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her ability to craft compelling narratives that drive engagement, influence, and organizational impact.

Following a personal season of transition as a stay-at-home mother, Jolanda experienced a deep identity shift that led her to reevaluate purpose beyond corporate achievement. During this period, she recognized the disconnect between professional success and personal fulfillment, which ultimately became the foundation for her transformational work. In response to her own journey of rebuilding identity and resilience, she founded Jolanda Logan Consulting during the COVID-19 era. From this experience emerged her signature framework, #GetBetterBeBetterDoBetter—a developmental model grounded in self-examination, character growth, and intentional action designed to help women realign with purpose and self-worth.

Today, Jolanda serves as CEO of Jolanda Logan Consulting, where she coaches individuals, organizations, and women’s groups through leadership development, emotional intelligence, and personal transformation. She is also the creator and host of the “Refined and Radiant” Women’s Summit, which centers on honesty, growth, and community accountability. Currently pursuing graduate studies in counseling at Capella University, she continues to integrate psychology, faith-based principles, and lived experience into her coaching philosophy. Her work focuses on helping women move from survival to intentional living, empowering them to “get better, be better, and do better” in every area of life.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success primarily to my belief in possibility and in my own ability to achieve my goals. Growing up without many role models who reflected the future I envisioned, my perspective was shaped when my uncle exposed me to life beyond my hometown of Franklin, Louisiana, including his work as a school principal and the broader opportunities of Chicago’s Central Business District. That early exposure helped me imagine a different future for myself, one I chose to believe I could attain. From a young age, I held onto the vision of building a life beyond my circumstances, and that belief has guided me through both personal and professional milestones. Even when I was told from a medical standpoint that I might not be able to have children naturally, I chose to trust in a different outcome, and today I am a mother to my nearly 13-year-old son. Across every part of my life, belief has been the foundation of my success.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice that I've ever received is to know and believe that you are the expert at what you do. Focus on doing well at that. Everything else will line up.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in yourself. And do the work to be the best at what you do. Don't take shortcuts. When you're working with someone, working with a company, be your best, give your best, do your best. Always put your best foot forward, give 120%. And do that for you. Not for anybody else. Do it for you. Because when you do it for you, the results for other people will be phenomenal.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field, especially working with women, is helping them recognize that they are a priority and worth investing in. Many women become so focused on caring for others that they lose sight of their own needs and goals, and struggle to acknowledge when they want change. Another challenge is the current economic environment, where rising costs and limited discretionary income can make it difficult for both individuals and organizations to invest in personal and professional development, even when that investment is essential for growth.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me are truth. Walking in truth, living your truth, is critical to every other area of your life. The other value that's important to me is integrity.
