I began my career in the entertainment industry in the 1980s. With no background in film or television, I left New Jersey for Los Angeles with a simple inner conviction that I was meant to work for a motion picture studio. At the time, I was working as a paralegal. That role led me into an entertainment law firm, and through strategic networking and determination, I secured a position at Paramount Pictures.

At Paramount, I worked in television publicity on some of the most celebrated shows of the era, including Cheers, Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Taxi, and Family Ties. It was an extraordinary experience and a powerful lesson in possibility.

While there, I noticed something interesting. Many people were trying to network their way into similar opportunities and often asked how I had succeeded without prior experience. I became curious about why some people advanced with relative ease while others struggled despite effort and talent.

That curiosity led me to study what was then widely referred to as the Law of Attraction. I began teaching these principles and saw consistent results in certain areas of people’s lives, but not across the board. It became clear to me that something deeper was influencing outcomes.

I discovered that subconscious beliefs, unseen patterns, and hidden energetic influences often determine whether someone thrives or remains blocked. That search for deeper answers introduced me to spiritual healing, a modality that identifies and clears the underlying causes of personal and professional challenges.

In 2004, I formally launched my full-time spiritual healing practice. Since then, I have worked with individuals and leaders seeking greater clarity, alignment, and success. I have authored multiple books, with many more in development, and my work continues to evolve toward broader teaching and public engagement.

What began as curiosity about success has become a lifelong mission: helping people remove hidden barriers so they can move forward with greater ease, purpose, and impact.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of tenacity, willingness to take risks, and deep spiritual trust.

From the outside, some moments may have looked like luck. But over time, I came to recognize a consistent pattern of guidance and support. I believe God works through people, opportunities, and intuition. My greatest breakthroughs have come when I surrendered the need to control every outcome and allowed myself to be guided.

Getting out of your own way is often the hardest part. We tend to believe we see the full picture, yet there is always a larger perspective available. When I release ego-driven agendas and listen for inspired direction, the path becomes clearer and more aligned.

Success, for me, has not been about force. It has been about alignment. When I step aside and allow divine inspiration to move through me, I am more effective, more creative, and more responsive to what is truly needed.

I have learned that we are far more supported than we realize. The key is cultivating trust, staying open, and having the courage to follow guidance when it comes.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was to follow the inner nudge, even when it does not make logical sense.

Early in my career, I learned that opportunities often appear before you feel fully prepared. If you wait until you have every credential, every answer, and complete certainty, you will miss doors that were meant for you.

I was also advised to focus on relationships, not just results. People remember how you made them feel long after they forget your résumé. Integrity, reliability, and generosity of spirit create opportunities that skill alone cannot.

Finally, I learned that alignment matters more than force. When something requires constant pushing against resistance, it is worth pausing and reassessing. The right path may still require effort, but it will not require you to betray yourself.

That combination of courage, integrity, and alignment has shaped every major decision I have made.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage a young woman entering this industry to cultivate deep trust in her own inner knowing.

There is no shortage of external opinions, trends, warnings, and competing narratives. Some are helpful. Many are rooted in fear. Learning discernment is essential. Not every voice deserves equal authority in your life.

Your inner guidance system is more reliable than you may realize. Develop the practice of listening inward before reacting outward. When a message consistently amplifies fear, division, or urgency, pause. Fear may grab attention, but it rarely reflects the highest wisdom.

This does not mean ignoring reality. It means strengthening your ability to filter information through clarity rather than anxiety.

Discernment, self-trust, and emotional steadiness will serve you far more than chasing every new idea or reacting to every external pressure. When you lead from within, your path becomes clearer, your decisions more confident, and your work more aligned.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in the spiritual and healing field right now is discernment.

There is an overwhelming amount of information available. Social media has amplified spiritual concepts, energetic practices, and intuitive messaging in ways that make them more accessible than ever. That accessibility is a gift, but it also creates confusion. Not all guidance is grounded. Not all teachers are trained. And not all messaging is rooted in integrity.

Another challenge is the tendency toward extremes. Some people dismiss spiritual work entirely, while others accept everything without critical thinking. The opportunity lies in bridging wisdom and discernment, faith and practicality, intuition and responsibility.

At the same time, this is an extraordinary moment of opportunity. More people are open to understanding energy, consciousness, trauma, subconscious patterning, and the mind body connection. There is a growing recognition that success and wellbeing are not just external achievements but internal alignment.

The field is maturing. The opportunity is to bring greater depth, accountability, and clarity to spiritual work so that it supports real transformation rather than temporary inspiration.

Those who can combine spiritual insight with grounded leadership will help shape the next evolution of this industry.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is foundational to everything I do. I believe in being deeply honest with yourself and with others. It is easy to rationalize why something is happening or to overlook our own blind spots. True growth requires self-awareness, accountability, and a willingness to see what is really there.

I also value balance and meaningful connection. Close, trusted relationships matter to me. Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed, not just endured or achieved. No matter how full my schedule may be, I strive to create space for genuine connection, restoration, and joy. Balance may look different from day to day, but the intention remains the same.

Healthy boundaries are another essential value. For many women especially, over-giving has been normalized. We are often taught to put everyone else first, even at the expense of our own wellbeing. I have learned that giving must come from a full cup. When we continually deplete ourselves, it is not sustainable, and it can unintentionally enable others rather than empower them.

Part of integrity is recognizing that we cannot rescue everyone from their lessons. Growth sometimes requires discomfort. Supporting someone does not mean removing every obstacle from their path. It means standing in truth, offering guidance when appropriate, and trusting that others are capable of rising.

In both my work and personal life, I value truth, balance, clear boundaries, and empowered relationships rooted in mutual respect.
