Ten minutes with Juliet
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my ability to adapt and embrace new opportunities during times of change. After relocating to Texas to care for a parent, I made a significant career transition and pivoted into coaching, drawing on my professional experience and passion for helping others grow. This experience reinforced the importance of resilience, flexibility, and maintaining a strong sense of purpose, all of which have contributed to my personal and professional success.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to trust my instincts and believe in myself. While seeking input and learning from others is important, I’ve found that listening to my intuition and having confidence in my abilities often leads to the best decisions. Trusting my judgment has helped me navigate career transitions, embrace new opportunities, and remain true to my values throughout my professional journey.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering this industry to keep moving forward, no matter what obstacles they encounter. Challenges and setbacks are a natural part of any career journey, but persistence, resilience, and confidence in your abilities will help you overcome them. Stay focused on your goals, continue learning and growing, and never let temporary difficulties deter you from pursuing the opportunities and success you deserve.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are recognizing the inherent worth of every individual, acting with integrity and honesty, and maintaining a positive outlook. I strive to use my voice, experiences, and talents to empower others, particularly women, and to make a meaningful difference in their lives. I believe that love, kindness, and authenticity are powerful forces for good, and I approach challenges with the conviction that every experience has value and that nothing is wasted if we learn and grow from it.
