Julliette "JuLā" Ducré: Being an influential woman is not about titles, recognition, or accomplishments. It's about using your experiences, your voice, and your platform to inspire, encourage, and uplift others. Throughout my life, I've learned that resilience is built through challenges, setbacks, and perseverance. Being an influential woman means leading by example, remaining authentic, and showing others that success is possible even when the journey is difficult. I believe influence is not measured by how many people know your name, but by the positive impact you make in the lives of others. If my story, my experiences, or my work can encourage even one person to keep moving forward, then I consider that a success.

What's one piece of advice you would give to younger women chasing their dreams?

Julliette "JuLā" Ducré: That if it doesn't feel right, don't do it.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Julliette

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to understanding communication, human behavior, and knowing how to read the current market and what talent buyers want. I believe success is built through preparation, professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to build genuine relationships. Talent is important, but understanding people, recognizing opportunities, and consistently delivering value have been equally important throughout my career.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

"Stay ready so you don't have to get ready."

Opportunities rarely come with advance notice. Throughout my career, I have learned that preparation, persistence, and professionalism are just as important as talent. When opportunity knocks, you must be ready to answer. The work you do behind the scenes often determines the success people see on stage.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell these young women that the entertainment industry is a very tough industry. There will be highs and lows. Artists will come and go.

Always trust your instincts. If something doesn't feel right, pay attention to that feeling. Your instincts are often your first line of protection.

Know your worth, protect your reputation, and learn the business side of the industry. Talent is important, but talent alone is not enough. Learn how contracts work, understand the value of professional relationships, and always conduct yourself professionally.

Most importantly, stay focused on your goals and continue developing your craft. Success in entertainment is not built overnight. It is earned through preparation, persistence, resilience, and professionalism.

Believe in yourself, trust your instincts, and never stop growing.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in the entertainment industry today is standing out in an increasingly crowded marketplace. With social media, streaming platforms, and digital content available to everyone, artists are competing for attention like never before.

Another challenge is helping some established and legendary artists adapt to the realities of today's entertainment landscape. Many built successful careers in a very different era and may not fully understand the importance of social media marketing, digital branding, audience engagement, and online visibility. Talent is still essential, but today's artists must also understand how to connect with audiences across multiple platforms.

At the same time, this challenge presents one of the greatest opportunities. Independent artists now have direct access to audiences around the world without relying solely on traditional gatekeepers. Artists can build their own brands, connect with fans, and create new revenue streams through digital platforms.

The key is understanding how to market yourself effectively, remain authentic, and adapt to changing industry trends. Those who are willing to learn, evolve, and embrace new opportunities are in the best position to succeed in today's entertainment industry.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My reputation is everything to me. I worked hard for it, and I believe trust is earned through consistent actions over time.

My faith has also played a significant role in my journey. It has helped me navigate challenges, remain grounded during difficult times, and stay grateful during moments of success.

I also value hard work and perseverance. Success rarely happens overnight, and I believe in showing up, staying prepared, and continuing to move forward regardless of obstacles or setbacks.

Most importantly, I strive to leave every person, project, and opportunity better than I found it. Whether in business, entertainment, or everyday life, I believe character and integrity will always matter.
