Kara Alberg

She is an accomplished clinical research and study start-up executive with nearly two decades of experience leading global study initiation, regulatory affairs, and clinical operations across the contract research organization (CRO) and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Global Study Start-Up at Caidya, she leads global study start-up strategy, regulatory submissions, and site activation for clinical trials. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Director of Study Start-Up at Caidya and as Director of Start-up Team Management at PPD. Her extensive career includes over six years at Syneos Health Clinical Solutions, where she served as Associate Director of SSU & Regulatory and Senior Study Start-Up Project Lead, and over three years at Quintiles as Regulatory and Start-Up Lead and Site Start-Up Specialist. She also held roles at PRA International as Clinical Research Associate, In-House CRA, and Subject Recruiting Specialist.
