In addition to her military career, Kate is pursuing higher education with distinction, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security from American Military University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from East Carolina University, both with exemplary academic records. She has been actively involved in honor societies and leadership organizations, reflecting her commitment to learning and mentoring others.

My advice to young women entering the military is to earn your degree first, enter as an officer, seek a mentor in your field, and do thorough research to prepare yourself for success.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are family, fitness, and personal well-being—I cherish spending time with my three daughters and staying active through working out and running.
