What do you attribute your success to?

Not willing to fail. Always wanting to give my familY what I didn’t have. Even when an out come didn’t go my way. I would pivot and figure out what I needed to do to move up.

My advice to young women entering the retail grocery industry is to work hard, maintain a healthy work-life balance, not take things personally, and seek support from a partner or mentor along the way.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Always being able to pivot when new things come to help processes in the store.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in work and life are family, teamwork, and compassion, which we practice through activities like escape rooms and caring for our rescue dogs and cats.
