Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kendra

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my great-grandmother who raised me. Seeing her resilience growing up instilled that inside of me. I measure success not by what I personally accomplished but by the leaders I develop and the ripple effect that has on thousands of customers every day.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my great-grandmother, who was my greatest role model and source of inspiration. Her resilience, strong work ethic, and unwavering determination taught me the importance of perseverance and staying committed to my goals. I carry those lessons with me in my leadership journey and strive to mentor and support others with the same dedication and encouragement she showed me.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be open to change. You don't always know that we all have opportunities. Be patient, be resilient, and be a voice for others.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The new millennials, the Gen Zers. Learning to meet them where they are and help them grow from there is an obstacle but also an opportunity.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are leadership, integrity, resilience, growth, and service. I believe true success is measured not only by personal achievements but by the positive impact we have on the people we support, develop, and inspire. My goal is to lead with purpose, continue growing, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and the communities I serve.
