Her Story
About Kim
Kim Bantle is a best-selling author, consultant, speaker, and former television executive whose remarkable career spans entertainment, entrepreneurship, writing, and intuitive exploration. A magna cum laude graduate of Boston College, she spent more than two decades in the television industry, holding executive and leadership positions with companies including Viacom and Paramount, where she was involved in program development, production, sales, and marketing. Throughout her corporate career, Kim quietly relied on her strong intuition and clairvoyant abilities to navigate high-pressure meetings and complex decisions. She used her intuitive, telepathic, and mind-reading skills in many high-level meetings, much to the confusion and awe of those in the room. After becoming a mother of three, she transitioned into consulting and spent more than 20 years managing the architectural review and approval processes for homeowner associations, overseeing projects involving 700+ homes. Kim's lifelong journey with intuition eventually inspired her memoir, Confessions of a Closeted Clairvoyant, which became a #1 New Release on Amazon and has received enthusiastic five-star reviews. Raised as the youngest of seven in a spirited Catholic family, Kim discovered her intuitive abilities at a young age and gradually explored meditation, energy, reincarnation, mediumship, and spirituality. For years, she kept these experiences private, but personal experiences—including a near-death experience and encounters that challenged her understanding of intuition—ultimately encouraged her to share her story publicly. Through her writing, speaking engagements, book signings, and her “Books and Mediumship” events, Kim seeks to help others feel less alone in their experiences and encourages people, particularly young adults and families, to understand and trust their intuition. Beyond her work as an author and speaker, Kim is passionate about expanding conversations around near-death experiences and supporting people who may struggle to understand these profound events. She is a member of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) and is working toward initiatives that could provide educational information and support resources in hospital settings, including for veterans who have experienced extraordinary or difficult-to-explain experiences. An avid traveler, Kim has explored 48 of the 50 states in the United States and enjoys photography, hiking, biking, and discovering new places. After losing her home in Pacific Palisades to the 2025 fires, she has relocated to Manhattan Beach, California, where she continues to write, speak, travel, and develop new creative projects, with a particular goal of reaching younger audiences and encouraging open, thoughtful conversations about intuition, personal experiences, and the unexplored dimensions of human life.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Kim
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to trusting my intuition, embracing my unique experiences, and having the courage to share my story. My new book, Confessions of a Closeted Clairvoyant: Being an Intuitive in a Skeptical World, published in May 2026, represents an important part of my journey and my desire to help others better understand and trust their own intuition. Through my writing and speaking, I hope to create meaningful conversations, build awareness, and encourage people to explore questions they may have left unanswered.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have learned is to remain open to opportunities and never be afraid to pursue something unconventional. My career in television working with major production companies and collaborating with leaders in the entertainment industry, taught me the importance of perseverance, relationships, and believing in an idea. I have carried those lessons into my work as an author, speaker, consultant, and sometimes medium, continuing to pursue opportunities that align with my purpose. Trust yourself, your gut, and your intuition first and foremost!
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women to trust themselves, remain open-minded, and never be afraid to embrace what makes them unique. My own journey has included television, writing, speaking, mediumship, and supporting people who have experienced near-death experiences or are coping with PTSD. I have learned that your experiences can become part of your greatest strength, and you should never feel pressured to hide who you are or the gifts you bring to the world. It's both fulfilling and humbling to be able to help someone else.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest opportunities in my field is helping people become more open to intuition and clairvoyance while creating a safe space for meaningful conversations about these experiences. I want to continue expanding my reach as a national speaker, author, and educator through speaking engagements, support groups, and future creative projects, including my aspiration to bring my story to film. I see an opportunity to connect with broader and younger audiences and encourage them to explore and trust their own intuition.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me are authenticity, compassion, openness, and service. As a fourth-generation clairvoyant and someone who has experienced a near-death event, I believe deeply in honoring my experiences while using them to support and connect with others. Whether I am writing, speaking, consulting, or working with individuals, I strive to remain genuine, compassionate, and committed to helping people feel understood and empowered.
