Kim Schott

Kim Schott is a seasoned energy industry professional with over 32 years of experience, specializing in SCADA systems and team leadership. Throughout her career, she has led diverse teams, focusing on collaboration and empowerment to achieve operational excellence. Her tenure includes key roles in major energy organizations such as Black Hills Energy, Colorado Springs Utilities, Kinder Morgan, and El Paso Corporation, where she oversaw complex projects, SCADA integration, and strategic initiatives.

Kim holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Colorado State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has extensive expertise in business process improvement, energy management, integration, and project management. Her technical leadership has driven successful implementations of energy trading systems, SCADA networks, and regulatory compliance projects, consistently delivering measurable results for the organizations she has served.

Currently semi-retired, Kim leverages her experience to support local businesses through Peace of Mind Web Design LLC, focusing on online presence, business process improvement, and project management. Beyond her professional endeavors, she enjoys weight training, mountain biking, hiking, and camping in the Colorado outdoors. She is also actively involved in charitable work with Care & Share, reflecting her commitment to giving back to the community.
