Kimberly Warren
Kimberly Warren, MBA, is a seasoned higher education and research operations leader with over 20 years of experience in admissions, financial aid, and compliance. She specializes in designing student-centered systems that promote equity, innovation, and operational excellence, empowering diverse adult learners across public, private, and workforce-driven institutions. Throughout her career, Kimberly has directed institutional effectiveness, streamlined regulatory processes, and led cross-functional initiatives in grant-funded programs, research development, workforce re-entry, and community partnerships.
Currently serving as Director of Academic Programs at the Katz School of Science and Health, Kimberly oversees the development, execution, and continuous improvement of graduate programs in emerging fields such as AI, cybersecurity, biotechnology, and data analytics. She collaborates closely with faculty, program directors, and university leadership to align academic strategy with institutional goals, ensuring operational excellence through data-informed planning and project management. Her work bridges administrative operations and academic innovation, fostering a culture of collaboration, compliance, and student success.
In addition to her higher education leadership, Kimberly is the founder of El Tenny™, an aromatherapy and wellness brand designed to help women navigate stress, transitions, and leadership roles through scent, ritual, and intentional self-care. A passionate lifelong learner, she is pursuing a PhD in Management with a concentration in Information Systems Management at Walden University, blending data-driven strategies with human-centered design. Beyond her professional endeavors, Kimberly enjoys creating candles and incense, mixing oils and scents, writing, walking, and volunteering for animal-focused organizations. She is also in the process of writing a book that reflects her commitment to transformation, empowerment, and soulful leadership.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the guidance and support of my parents, the mentorship I’ve received from great coaches, and the lessons I’ve learned from my failures.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to never give up, to seek out a coach or mentor for guidance, and to embrace every opportunity to learn while enjoying the journey.
