K’Nesha Ewing is the CEO and Owner of Mid-TN Labs & Testing, LLC, a company dedicated to transforming the testing industry through innovative, state-of-the-art mobile laboratory services. Under her leadership, Mid-TN Labs & Testing provides a wide range of critical solutions, including rapid DOT and NON-DOT drug testing, breath alcohol testing, background checks, and essential healthcare diagnostics such as strep, flu, and COVID-19 testing. K’Nesha combines her clinical knowledge and business expertise to ensure high-quality, accessible testing solutions for her clients.
Prior to founding her company, K’Nesha gained extensive experience in healthcare and administrative roles. She worked as a Medical Assistant at Tennessee Oncology, a Certified Phlebotomist at Medscan Laboratory, and held positions in administrative support and tax preparation. This diverse experience in patient care, laboratory services, and business operations has given her a unique perspective on operational efficiency, compliance, and client service, which she applies to all aspects of her business.
K’Nesha’s educational background includes Licensed Practical Nurse training from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Nashville and nursing studies at Tennessee State University. She is committed to excellence, patient care, and innovation in the testing and healthcare industries. My advice to young women entering this industry is to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenges life throws your way. Obstacles will happen, but don’t give up—stay focused, keep learning, and keep moving toward your goals. Don’t stop; your persistence will pay off.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I’m facing right now is increasing visibility for my business and creating a more balanced, consistent flow of work. At the same time, these challenges are opportunities to innovate, strengthen our marketing strategies, and build lasting relationships with clients.

The value most important to me in both my work and personal life is integrity. I believe in being honest, ethical, and accountable in everything I do, and I strive to build trust and credibility through my actions and decisions.
