Her Story
About Lakshmi
My work started 27 years ago with deep learning about human consciousness, the blueprint for how our mind works according to scriptures, meditation science, biology, and physics. My work is a convergence of 14 life science in 1 build by understanding holistically how our consciousness works and translating that into a foundational system for AI, robots and machinery.
The inspiration for my invention is our children. I have a son who's 7, and by the time he's grown and graduating, most of the jobs in the workplace aren’t going to exist. And at the current rate of planetary resource depletion, what will be left for his generation?
My intent is pure: to drive planetary restoration and create a sustainable future that's in the best interest of all, especially our children.

Ten minutes with Lakshmi
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to whole systems thinking, to putting pieces together that don't seem to go together.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is to go with it full force before it's done, don't wait for it to be perfect. Just get it out there and perfect it along the way.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The best advice I could give is to not stop learning at school. If you’re the smartest one in the room, leave and go where you can learn more. Learn other systems, what leaders are doing, how creators build, how they think to free up your own self to innovate.
Our current school system is based on the industrial age, creating system thinkers, workers. To be successful at what I'm doing, it is a different type of thinking that builds out the logic incredibly far to ensure a solid foundation.
Break out of a system that tells you be quiet, stop asking so many questions, do what you're told. Break out of that shell to explore your own thinking and possibilities and how those might apply in the real world for solutions
I’m helping with a program called Zeus Boss Kids that teaches that type of entrepreneurial thinking, the type of skills that are not taught in school, the type of thinking that young people can utilize and arrive in the same place as me.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The most challenging part in my field of work is having people understand the complexity of my work. Because it's such a leapfrog technology, and utilizes so many different science fields. People understand a piece of it, the hardware, the chemistry, the physics, but it's proved rare for me to connect with people with ability to execute such an intricate complexity.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are integrity, trust, consistency and true teamwork that strengthen each other’s talents.
