Latha Cheedella
Latha is a self-made, multi-sector entrepreneur and the founder of Elite Enterprising Group, Inc., an umbrella enterprise based in the Kansas City area that spans IT and engineering staffing, construction and engineering services, exporting metal products, investment ventures, and workforce recruitment for teachers and healthcare professionals. Originally from India, Latha built a successful business career before immigrating to the United States in 1999, where she re-established herself through determination, adaptability, and a strong belief that opportunity should be accessible to everyone. Over more than two decades, she has expanded her work internationally, collaborating with partners in the United Kingdom, Australia, and other global markets.
Her professional philosophy centers on opening doors for others—especially women—by sharing knowledge, creating access, and leading with kindness, flexibility, and respect. Latha is known for treating employees like family and for using business success as a platform to uplift others. Beginning with IT staffing and consulting, she steadily grew her portfolio into engineering placements, construction services, exports, and investment activities, formally uniting multiple ventures under Elite Enterprising Group in late 2025. Her work reflects a balance of strategic vision and hands-on leadership across diverse industries.
Beyond business, Latha is deeply committed to community impact. She founded a nonprofit organization more than 20 years ago focused on supporting domestic violence survivors, mentoring students and professionals, assisting seniors, and connecting individuals to legal resources through volunteer attorneys. A recipient of multiple national and global awards, Latha views her greatest achievement not as titles or recognition, but as her ability to help people wherever they are. Guided by a passion for women’s empowerment and lifelong learning, she continues to build bridges—across industries, countries, and communities—while inspiring others to believe in what’s possible.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being motivated, focused, and determined. I've learned to be flexible in my approach and practice strong time management. What really drives me is my ability to capture opportunities when they arise. Throughout my 20-year career, I've maintained an unstoppable attitude - I never stop, I just keep working toward my goals. I also believe in the importance of being independent and making bold decisions without depending on others, which has helped me grow and build multiple successful businesses.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be independent and make bold decisions that help you grow without depending on others. You need to be very independent, confident, and focused. Put all your effort into your work and don't stop - we can't get on the ladder in one day, but you need to focus and keep trying to climb that ladder. It will be very challenging, so don't stop anytime, just keep working. Be unstoppable. Once you're successful, you need to open doors for every woman to become empowering women of the world.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is global expansion—exporting products, exploring new markets such as metal, gold, and diamonds, and building strong international partnerships across the UK, Australia, Argentina, Rwanda, and the United States. Expanding across borders allows businesses to create jobs, share knowledge, and open doors to new economic possibilities worldwide.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Personally, when you're in business, you need to feel that you are working with your family, treating all your employees with kindness. Whenever they need company support or something, we need to be flexible according to their needs. That's the personal side of how I run my business. When it comes to the business values themselves, I focus on time management, responsibility, staying focused, and always keeping my eyes on the goals to reach my milestones. I also believe strongly in humanity values - I don't want to keep things to myself, I want to give exploring opportunities to everyone and help people wherever I can.
