Latonia Price is a dedicated nonprofit leader and communicator from Morrisville, North Carolina. She served as a store manager at a nonprofit organization before pursuing further opportunities aligned with her calling. Price earned her Bachelor of Science in Church Leadership from Jakes Divinity, which is partnered with North Central University in Minnesota, completing her degree in May. Her professional focus lies in encouraging and inspiring people through ministry and mentorship. She has volunteered with The Caring Place, a nonprofit program aiding unhoused individuals in securing housing and developing financial literacy skills. Additionally, she held the position of JDS Ambassador in Communication at Jakes Divinity. Price attributes her success to accountability and endurance, values integrity above all, and advises others to believe in themselves, quiet outside noise, and persist through challenges.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Accountability and endurance. It's just that's it.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Sometimes you have to fail before you win. Every failure is one step closer to a success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You have to believe in yourself first. Quiet all the outside noise. You have to believe in you. Push your way through it, no matter what the naysayers say. Put one foot in front of the other, never give up, no matter what it looks like. Push through.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is bittersweet because you miss good nuggets from people. Experience without certification is hard to represent on resumes. Nonprofits may not treat people well or have funding issues.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is very very big. Number one. Always doing the right thing even when he's not looking.
