About La'Toya
La-Toya Chambers is a professional insurance and business life coach with more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry. She began her insurance career in 2001 after obtaining her Property & Casualty license, initially working in customer service and subsequently building extensive experience across personal and commercial insurance. Her career has included roles with Wells Fargo, Sentinel, McGriff, Churchwell Insurance Agency, and Johnson Insurance & Financial. She currently serves as a Senior Commercial Mortgage Loan Administration Specialist at Wells Fargo, where her responsibilities include reviewing insurance documentation, assessing risk, ensuring policy compliance, analyzing coverage, and coordinating with brokers, insurance companies, clients, and other stakeholders to support loan requirements.
In addition to her insurance career, La-Toya answered what she describes as a call to purpose by becoming a Certified Life Coach in 2019. She is the CEO and Founder of YOU are...Life Coaching LLC, where she serves as an accountability partner and helps individuals understand, embrace, and evolve into who they are. Her coaching areas include individual life coaching, youth coaching, spiritual coaching, relationship coaching, transitional coaching, transformational coaching, and mindfulness. Her professional experience has given her a strong foundation in client relationships, risk assessment, problem-solving, communication, business operations, and helping people navigate change.
La-Toya's professional philosophy is grounded in faith, integrity, character, self-worth, and service to others. She attributes her success first and foremost to God and to the people placed in her path whom she has had the opportunity to inspire. She encourages young women to recognize their value, maintain confidence, ask questions, advocate for themselves, and never settle when it comes to their career opportunities. Her commitment to personal development and service is reflected in her support for causes involving children, economic empowerment, poverty alleviation, social services, arts and culture, and humanitarian relief. Her accomplishments include the 2025 Design with a Purpose Award for Women-Owned Business, the Top 50 Award from Motivate Magazine, and recognition as a featured professional in Motivate Magazine.

01What do you attribute your success to?
First and foremost to God because I am very spiritual. I also contribute my success to others that are put in my path for me to inspire.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never underestimate yourself. They described how their introverted nature evolved into extroverted skills through life experiences, allowing them to connect with others and serve their purpose.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Know your self-worth and have a good level of self-esteem. Do not settle. In interviews, ask questions, demonstrate confidence, and stand firm in what you deserve regarding salary and benefits.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The opportunity for growth and connecting with individuals from all walks of life, along with the challenge of maintaining consistency and adjusting to constant changes in the professional world.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Faith, integrity, and character. These old-school moral principles form the foundation of my professional identity. Faith guides my life coaching business and personal development.
